Surveillance Records is pleased to announce a special appearance at Baja Prog 2008 by Holding Pattern guitarist/composer-Tony Spada with the Alex Carpani Band.

Spada was a guest guitarist on the new album "Waterline" and will join the band for a couple of West coast dates prior to Baja Prog to be announced by Cypher Arts manager Dan Shapiro.

Tony Spada is currently planning a tour in support of the new Holding Pattern reunion release "Breaking the Silence" for later this year.

Breaking the Silence - Reunion Album by Holding Pattern

Surveillance Records is pleased to announce the reunion of the legendary U.S. progressive rock band, Holding Pattern. The new album "Breaking The Silence" is currently in pre-production and will be released worldwide November 30, 2007.

Due to success of guitarist /composer Tony Spada’s critically acclaimed 2005 solo album "The Human Element" and recent Japanese tour, there has been much anticipation regarding this possibility which should excite the old fans as well as all fans of instrumental progressive rock.

  • Special Appearance at Nearfest

    Holding Pattern guitarist Tony Spada and progressive rock album artist Paul Whitehead will be appearing at this year's Nearfest, June 23-24 in Bethlehem, PA. They will be meeting with fans at the Clearlight/Cypher Arts booth. Both artist's merchandise will be available along with Clearlight music and artwork. The two day festival is the largest prog event on the east coast and features music and vendors from around the world.

    Holding Pattern Live In Japan

    Holding Pattern performed at the Poseidon Festival in Tokyo from October 25 to October 30th to support Tony Spadas' latest solo release "The Human Element and the upcoming reunion album by "Holding Pattern" on Surveillance Records. Featured members of the band were bassist/keyboardist Tony Castellano and drummer Robert Hutchinson. This was Japans largest progressive rock festival.
